The<strong> QNUK Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF)<\/strong> has been developed in conjunction with other AOs and supports employers to meet their requirements under the<strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hse.gov.uk\/pubns\/books\/l74.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" data-schema-attribute=\"mentions\"><strong>Health and Safety (First Aid) regulations<\/strong> 1981<\/a>. (NI 1982)<\/p>\n<p>This. qualification is typically delivered over 3 days. It is for those working in higher risk&nbsp; workplaces, or lower risk workplaces with larger numbers of staff and visitors.<\/p>\n<p>The qualification is open to those <strong>over 14 years<\/strong> of age, however only those over 16 can act.as a sole first aider within a workplace.<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>Pre-Requisites:<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>This qualification is aimed at those over 16 who are able to undertake the responsibilities associated with being an emergency first aider. Those under 16 may undertake the qualification, however they should not be relied upon by employers to be a responsible first aider.<\/p>\n<p>Due to the language of the assessment, it is recommended that learners have sufficient command of the English language in order to understand the assessment and to undertake the recommended assessment methods.<\/p>\n<p>Students will be required to demonstrate <strong>First Aid<\/strong> procedures as they would in a real work environment. This includes providing <strong>CPR<\/strong> to a casualty who is on the floor, therefore be physically capable of doing so.<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>Diversity, Equality &amp;
