Who is this for?<\/span><\/h4>\n

The Activity First Aid qualification is aimed at those needing to provide first aid in sporting activities. The two day delivery meets the requirements of several sports governing bodies. including the Scottish Youth Football Association. <\/strong><\/p>\n

The Activity First Aid<\/strong> qualification builds on the Emergency first aid at work qualification, to include core common injuries found in sorting activities.<\/p>\n

The Activity First Aid qualification also meets the requirements for the emergency first aid at work qualification.<\/p>\n

The qualification is open to those over 16   years<\/strong> of age.<\/p>\n

Pre-Requisites:<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

This qualification is aimed at those over 16 who are able to undertake the responsibilities associated with being an emergency first aider. Those under 16 may undertake the qualification, however they should not be relied upon by employers to be a responsible first aider.<\/p>\n

Due to the language of the assessment, it is recommended that learners have sufficient command of the English language in order to understand the assessment and to undertake the recommended assessment methods.<\/p>\n

Students will be required to demonstrate First Aid<\/strong> procedures as they would in a real work environment. This includes providing CPR<\/strong> to a casualty who is on the floor, therefore be physically capable of doing so.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The Activity First Aid <\/strong>qualification has been developed to meet the first aid Training requirements  outlined by The Forest Schools Association<\/strong>, the Health & Safety Executive (HSE)<\/strong> and the EYFS<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
