At SPR, we firmly believe in providing individuals with a range of options. After extensive research and testing, we are thrilled to introduce our latest offering: Blended Training for our QNUK First Aid Courses

So, what exactly is Blended Training?  It entails completing an online pre-course followed by an in-person component to develop practical skills and take examinations. Each course provides guidance on the duration of the online portion and the minimum required face-to-face time.

Now, let’s explore the benefits of Blended Training. Firstly, it allows students to cover theory and background elements before attending the in-person sessions. This approach also reduces classroom and travel time, enabling participants to enrol in longer and more comprehensive courses.

Furthermore, Blended Training offers flexible learning options, allowing individuals to study in the evenings, on weekends, or during their downtime at work.

Once you have completed the online portion of the course contact us and we will arrange the classroom to suite your needs –   we have a few scheduled for your convenance but these are just a guide and we can arrange something that suites you better if needed.

It will be same certificate as doing a 100%  Classroom Course.

Blended Paediatric First Aid

Keep your staff, clients, and company safe by making sure you have first aid trained people in your work force. SPR can provide training in our training facilities in AIRDRIE, Lanarkshire, Scotland or in your premises.

SPR has been in business for over 30 years understands the needs of other businesses. We are flexible and work out the most cost-effective way to provide the training you need, at a time that suits you.

Who is this for?

The Blended Paediatric First aid – PFA –  qualification is aimed at those working in an early years setting who require a paediatric first aid qualification to meet the early years foundation stage requirements.

The qualification is particularly useful where only one first aider may be available. For example:

  • Childminders
  • School staff on school trips
  • Nurseries

The qualification is open to those over 16   years of age.

Pre-Requisites:

This Blended Paediatric First aid is aimed at those over 16 who are able to undertake the responsibilities associated with being an emergency first aider. Those under 16 may undertake the qualification, however they should not be relied upon by employers to be a responsible first aider.

Due to the language of the assessment, it is recommended that learners have sufficient command of the English language in order to understand the assessment and to undertake the recommended assessment methods.

Students will be required to demonstrate First Aid procedures as they would in a real work environment. This includes providing CPR to a casualty who is on the floor, therefore be physically capable of doing so.

Diversity, Equality & Inclusivity

Our staff at SPR have undergone training in safeguarding, diversity, equality, and inclusivity, including mental healthdisability awareness and LGBTQ+ training.

We are committed to welcoming individuals of all races, colours, ancestries, religions, origins, ages, sexual orientations, disabilities, and gender identities.

Our goal is to create a safe and inclusive environment for everyone.
